As well as being a member of the BDA PSG she has been part of DISC for 16 years and was in the chair role for 7 years, just recently stepping down. She has spearheaded use of blended diet in her area for children for whom tolerance of enteral feeds was an issue, and was part of the BDA committee producing the policy statement and toolkit<a href=\"#_ftn1\">[1]<\/a> on blended diet (2019\/2021) and is involved in the current BAPEN\/BDA update of these documents. Sue has been a member of the BDA PSG for 8 years, chairing the group 2019-23 and latterly as a member of the Education Committee developing pre-registration in Paediatric Dietetics, working on many education projects, including being a co-lead on University of Plymouth\u2019s Advanced Paediatric Dietetics module 1. She brings more than 20 years\u2019 experience as a registered dietitian across NHS community and acute services and private practice, including enteral feeding, neurological rehabilitation and complex disabilities. Her work has ranged from local clinical and multidisciplinary leadership to regional and national improvement initiatives. She was enteral feeding lead for a nine-PCT North West London consortium, contributed to national work on malnutrition screening and access to nutritional care, and led or co-led service redesign, digital transformation, and capacity and workload analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:clamp(14px, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.104), 15px);\">After retraining in data analytics at the London School of Economics, completing the programme with distinction, Alia has spent four years working in healthcare and business intelligence. She is also a PRINCE2 Practitioner with postgraduate training in organisational leadership and quality improvement.
